What to do before your laser appointment?

❌ Don’t wax, tweeze, epilate or use chemical depilatories 3-4 weeks prior to your appointment, because laser targets the roots of the hair.
✅ Shaving is OK.
❌ Avoid sun exposure or tanning beds 5 days prior to your appontment. Or use SPF50 if the treated area can’t be covered.
❌ Avoid tanning lotions (or any melanin activators) 15 days prior to your appointment.
❌ Avoid working out, saunas and swimming pools on the day of your appointment.
❌ Stop peeling, scrubbing your skin 1 week prior to your appointment.
❌ Do not use any products (acids, retinols…etc.) or drugs that cause photosensitivity 1 week prior to your appointment.
✅ Hydrate your skin regularly, but avoid any products on the treated area on the day of your appointment.
✅ Arrive with clean skin (no creams, deodorants, makeup) on the treated area.
✅ Shave the treated area the night before your treatment. Shaving is the only form of hair removal recommended during your laser hair removal treatment.

What to do after your laser appointment?
❌ Avoid sunbathing and solarium for 5 days after the treatment.
✅ You need to shave your hair during the whole treatment, no waxing or plucking.
❌ Don't go to a swimming pool, sauna or take a hot bath for 1-3 days, don't do sports for 2 days.
❌ In the case of underarm treatment, do not use antiperspirant on the same day.
✅ Hydrate your skin during the whole treatment.
✅ In summer, it is important to use a 50 SPF sunscreen.
These rules seem strict, but with minimal sacrifices we can make our dream come true and our reward is permanently smooth skin.
